Democrats admit that cap and trade is a job killer?

so, they admit it BUT they still want to pass this thing in a hurting economy. I agree we have to do something about alternative energy but is this REALLY the right time for this. Shouldn’t the economy/jobs come first right now?

No, it is not the right time as far as our Economy and High Unemployment Rates go, but it is the right time for them politically, basically they know that the odds of them maintaining the 60 person majority in the senate come 2010 is slipping away every day, and if they don’t act now and push it through before the upcoming elections, it isn’t going to happen.
