How do I ask the Natural Gas People my Requirements?

I have a A.C Genset which consumes 260CFH. How do I ask the Natural Gas Company my requirement. What will they tell me. Also, I would like to know what the BTU this equates too.

Get a plumber to deal with the Gas company. He’ll need to look at your generator set. 260 cfh is not much. Rule of thumb for natural gas is 1000 BTU’s per cubic foot of gas. 260 x 1000 = BTU/hr
