How much propane per natural gas ccf?
I use about 150 ccf of natural gas in the winter and was wondering how many gallon propane tank I would need for 300 ccf of natural gas? I am just wondering if It would be cheaper for me to use propane over gas especially in the summer time when all I need the gas for is my hot water and I end up paying a service higher then what my gas is?

There are 36.41 cubic feet of propane gas in one gallon of propane liquid. That is measured with the gas at 60 degs F and 14.696 psia
The question you didn’t ask is what is the difference in btu content of propane and natural gas. Natural gas contains about 1000 btu per cubic foot and propane contains a net of about 2316 btu per cubic foot. That is a ratio of about 2 and 1/3 more btus per cubic foot.
