What is the best way to mount glass solar panels on an electric pickup truck in a high-crime city?

Please add suggestions on how to make the PV cells vandal and theft proof, too.

Why would you want to put solar panels on it anyway? Put a small generator in it.
A small generator is better for the environment than solar panels. People have been lied to and mislead solar panels take more energy to make then they will every put out in there life time.Get a little Honda 500 watt generator and turn that sucker into a hybrid.

aviophage Doesn’t have a grip on reality. In two weeks it would barley make the energy needed to heat a soldering gun to solder the wires to install it. Let alone smelt glass,silicon,steel and transport the material. Then after that point melt it again to make the cell lol. There is a reason why solar panels aren’t cheap. If they didn’t take a ton of energy to build them they wouldn’t cost so much.Only reason you might get a payback in 7 years is because companies building them pay a lot less for energy. If they had to pay the price of “solar energy” you would never see a payback.
