Small Scale Wind miill energy installation?

Dear Friends,
We are running a stone minning company in Karnataka but we are facing Electicity Supply problem. we are thinking of installing wind mill. we have a 100 horse pwer machine, we need to run atleast for 15 hrs/day.
I want to know how much it cost to set up a wind mill for my mine?

all that jargon that the other people belted out has little or no meaning

a 100 HP or abt 75 KW power plant is what u need..and that has no solution in wind or the sun as of today

there are one or two solutions..but none of them is easy

the first is a captive power plant near ur site…i assume u have access to land for it

the best option there is to use a river that flows close by by entering into an agreement with the govt..this has worked wonders for our unit in Solan Himachal pradesh..but may be tougher for u because it may be more difficult to find to find a river near u

coal or naptha power plants have myriad probs least of all the cost of the power u get from them..so if u can overcome those..u can have a look there too

one source of power we have been using in our officers colony is Biogas gensets

though its a much smaller scale than what u need ..academically u could have a bio gas generator a 100 times bigger than what we have in terms of size and input feed..we run a 1 kw genset entirely on locally produced biogas
