What is the greatest environmental problem where you live?
Here in Kentucky a couple areas have major problems.
In Louisville (esp the western Ohio River waterfront) there are 3 coal belching power plants when fill the air with dust and mercury. Even worse are the gigantic mounds of Coal Ash which contain even higher amounts of mercury that the stack pipes. Wind storms pick up the ash and dump it in areas just downwind of the site
In Eastern KY strip mining for coal has caused major land slide and ground water problems
Here is a KY mountain that was strip mined

TVA in Tennessee spilled coal all over.
